HOW TO BOOK:
Payments: Prices are in Canadian dollars per person double occupancyunless otherwise stated and are subject to change.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $ 100 per person for anyland package as well as $ 100 per person for airline seats (or final payment,if products purchased is less than $ 100) is payable at time of booking,for cars the deposit is $50 per car.
Deposit and Final Payment Requirements
A deposit is required within seven days of booking. Cancellation protectionPlan, if desired, must be paid at time of deposit; For Cancellation ProtectionPlan and Additional Baggage Protection inquire for details. Final paymentis due no later than 30 days prior to departure. Cruises 42/60 days prior to departure
Credit Cards: We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express andDiners Club. Your verbal authorization of the use of your card indicatesyour compliance with our booking terms and conditions and confirms yourreservation whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft.
Honest Pricing: Tour prices include all mandatory hotel servicecharges. Charges for GST and provincial taxes on hotels and tours are shownseparately. Additional charges for transportation related fees and departuretaxes are shown separately and must be paid in advance unless otherwiseindicated. G.S:T., H.S.T. and other transportation-related fees, when applicable,are included in the departure taxes figure.
Special requests and Services: We will do our best to conveyyour special accommodation requests and other requirements but theses arein the discretion of the hotel and cannot be confirmed prior to departureand may be subject to surcharge payable locally. BRITISH COLUMBIA TRAVELis not responsible if these special requirements are not met. Requestsfor complimentary accommodation upgrades, (where these upgrades are availableat a published price), regrettably are not possible.
Passengers with Handicaps: BRITISH COLUMBIA TRAVEL must be advisedof a traveler’s special requirements at the time of booking and we willmake any effort to accommodate special requests, but cannot confirm a reservationuntil all travel suppliers have acknowledged that they can provide theservices requested. BRITISH COLUMBIA TRAVEL or the suppliers may have todeny boarding if prior notification is not given.

HOLIDY INSURANCE:
In the case of cancellation due to health problems or unforeseen circumstances,we believe it is extremely important that all vacationers be insured, especiallyin light of limitedprovincial health care coverage. Since BRITISH COLUMBIATRAVEL does not accept responsibility for health problems travelers mayincur, we strongly recommend that you purchase the special insurance planoffered by BRITISH COLUMBIA TRAVEL or alternatively secure your own coveragewhich is as comprehensive.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
If you want to change any of the details of your booking after it hasbeen confirmed we will do the best we can to help. However, any chargeto a confirmed booking requested more than 28 days prior to departure issubject to a $50 administration fee. A change of name, departure date ortour within 28 days of departure makes the booking subject to full applicablecancellation charges. Changing all names on file constitutes a cancellation.
If rooming requirements are altered due to cancellation by one or morepassengers, the passengers still traveling must pay the applicable ratefor the accommodation to be occupied. Once travel has commenced, NO changesto the booking are permitted.
IF WE CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
If we are forced to cancel your trip, we will refund your monies paid.We reserve the right to change published prices without notice or to passon government-imposed taxes, transportation-related fees or surchargesincluding those for fuel or currency fluctuations to the traveler.
IF YOU MUST CANCEL:
Cancellation notices must be received via telephone, or via fax. Changesof sailing date or substitution of passenger names are considered to becancellations and new bookings. All sailing date changes and name substitutionsare subject to space availability.
The following charges apply from the date we are advised of yourcancellation:
30 or more days prior to departure (or commencement of use of travelservice) -loss of deposit-
27 to 21 days prior to departure – 50% of total price
21 days to date of departure – 100% of total price.
Cancellation charges include G.S.T. and are effective from the daythat our Agency Service Center records your cancellation. Suppliers’ cancellationpolicies may vary.
DOCUMENTATION:
It is our responsibility to advise you of the identification necessaryfor travel to your destination and it is your responsibility to obtainat your expense, such documentation. If your travel documents are not inorder you may be refused boarding, you will be responsible for any costsincurred in catching up with your tour and no tour refund will be issued.A criminal record can also lead to denial of entry or passage to destination.
FLIGHTS AND DELAYS:
Please contact your airline within 6 hours of your departure to re-confirmyour flight departure time. If BRITISH COLUMBIA TRAVEL is aware of a changeevery effort will be made to adviseyou. Please note that in the case ofa flight delay announced at the airport, it may not always be possiblefor the airline to provide accommodations or meals during a delay at theairport. If the event of a delay related to weather, traffic, or anotherforce majeure situation, such expenses will be your responsibility. Weregret that BRITISH COLUMBIA TRAVEL cannot accept responsibility for additionalcharges incurred for expenses, or lost wages as a result of change to flighttimes or for missed holiday time. However, our Comprehensive Travel Insuranceprovides up to $150.- per person compensation for flight delays. Pleasecontact the airline for their respective delay policies.
